Located just off of 4th and Old Dixie and located in the Citgo convenience store, don't let the location fool you, there is some real scratch cooking going on in this kitchen! I stopped by recently to check out this brand new restaurant. Chef Daniel Wise and his wife Maureen run this place and are hoping to make a name for themselves in this area. With what I tasted during my visit, they are definitely going to do very well!

And the Vero Beach Foodie Award for Restaurant of the Year goes to Fire and Wine!!! Congratulations!!!
My selection for Restaurant of the Year should come as no surprise to anyone that has dined here since they opened a little over a year ago. My early prediction at the time I wrote my Tasting Experience article for this restaurant stated that this place would be hard to beat, and I was right. From the symphony of expertly prepared dishes that come out of the kitchen each night, to the ballet the chef and his staff perform in their small kitchen, this is without a doubt the best fine dining experience in Vero I have experienced to date.
And the Vero Beach Foodie award for Chef of the Year goes to ChefBeam Tk of Siam Orchid Vero Beach Thai & Sushi! Congratulations!!!
Asian food is in my Top 3 personal favorite cuisine types and the food at Siam Orchid is nothing short of amazing! The variety of dishes offered, the big bold flavors, and beautiful presentations that Chef Beak Tk comes up with continue to amaze me each time I visit his restaurant. This place has become a family favorite of ours and always gets a YES when we suggest going here for dinner. If you’re looking for an exceptional Asian food dining experience, then you need to pay these guys a visit and experience it for yourself.
I agree, Siam Orchard is where you will find the best Thai and Sushi around. Beam and Bow. will serve you delicious plates. I can't wait to see them soon...
Congrats Beam, Bow and crew !!!! See you soon.
Sorry we will miss the Meet-up. One our favorites too!
No doubt that he got this award! He deserves this award. He’s working so hard and taking such a good care to his customers! Congratulations to Beam and Siam Orchid!
I second this! Love ChefBeam Tk 💕

The dish was from Cobalt in 2017. It was just a simple banner update, same photo, just removed the logo because it didn't look good on mobile.

This is one of the most beautiful presentations of the dish I’ve seen at any restaurant in town. It’s made with slices of grilled house-made bread and topped with diced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, and drizzled with an EVOO basil pesto sauce. Everything was so fresh. The bread had a slight crunch on the edges, the tomatoes were sweet, the mozzarella was soft and easy to bite through, and the basil pesto added a zesty, yet somewhat nutty flavor to the dish.

For my next Tasting Experience, I head down to Miracle Mile and to a place called Sweet Kiss Ice Cream! While the business name says ice cream, what they are making here is Gelato. It’s an Italian style “ice cream” and is usually smoother and creamier than traditional ice cream. It contains 50% less air, less fat, is made with whole milk instead of cream, and in my opinion tastes much better. Everything here is made in-house with organic milk and quite a few products shipped in from Italy for a truly authentic experience. Cover Photo Courtesy of Brandee Anthony Photo & Media

For my next Tasting Experience, I head to South Vero and to Fire and Wine! This restaurant has been on my radar for quite a while now. I’ve seen pictures and heard many great reviews about it, so I was anxious to check it out for myself. Executive Chef Chuck Arnold and Front of House manager Roger Lord opened this place a little over a year ago in June 2017. So, does this new restaurant live up to the hype I’ve been hearing about it? Keep reading to find out!
Great review. I had the same dessert platter back in June and you described it perfectly - peanut butter heaven. The Ahi Tuna has to be the best appetizer in Vero. Chuck and Roger are wonderful hosts.
Nice review, Tom! And I loved all of the great pictures! I would love to try the peanut butter dessert, I love peanut butter!!
One of my favorite places in Vero!!!!
So so good there. Great selection of dry rosè.

It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a year and a half since my last review of this place. They are still going strong and now have a second location in the Museum of Art that opened just about a year ago. With a recently updated menu and lots of new items, let’s take a fresh look at this place and see what changes have been made and if the food is just as good as my first visit.
